With a background as a mental health pharmacist, Adam’s PhD research has used qualitative and quantitative methods to explore the implementation of pharmacogenomics in mental health settings, specifically in Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) services to support antipsychotic prescribing. More recently, Adam has started an internship with the North East and Yorkshire NHS Genomic Service Alliance and is planning a project to explore regional pharmacy workforce and education needs in relation to pharmacogenomics implementation.
