Alyssa (a-lee-sa) Jaffer is a writing and communications expert, with two degrees in media and journalism and years of professional experience in content marketing. She is the Senior Global Communications Manager for the international rider fleet at Deliveroo, a global online food tech company with £6.9 billion gross transaction value. Alyssa is passionate about gender equity, learning and development and she actively advocates to support marginalised communities in the workplace. She earned the 2024 Golden Wings Award in the category 'Not all heroes wear crêpes' for her contributions towards fostering diversity and growth at Deliveroo. Alongside her full time role, Alyssa is a freelance journalist, covering women's careers, health and travel for publications like Stylist Magazine, Business Insider and AllBright Post.
