As Director of Marketing and Supporter Engagement, Nicola Smedley is responsible for the Cancer Research UK brand, marketing, digital strategy and delivery, along with supporter engagement. Having been at the charity for over 6 years, she has led the recent rebrand, along with having strategic input into the data and digital transformation programme across the organisation.
Nicola’s past experience spans telco/tech sector roles in BT Group, Cable & Wireless and Vodafone, over 25 + years. Holding senior product, programme and marketing positions, within the UK and globally. She led the digital transformation of the marketing function. Her last role being Vice President, Global Marketing at BT.
